• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Very basic question

Let's say I have 3 domains.

AA.com
BB.com
CC.com

The 3 web sites have for DNS ns1.AA.com & ns2.AA.com.

I am now moving the 3 sites to a new server. What do I have to do when setting up AA.com so that it remains the "master" domain and I don't have to change the DNS.

Sure I sound like a newbie. I am!

TIA

this is what you need todo

1. setup aa.com / bb.com / cc.com on your new box (including uploading the sites)
2. setup ns1.aa.com & ns2.aa.com on your new box
3. Login to your domain registrar and update the records of ns1.aa.com and ns2.aa.com to point to the new ips you setup in step 1.

that should be it.
