• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Virtuozzo Containers for Windows - Security patching

New Pleskian
First off, I'm not too sure where to ask this question. I'm confused where the Virtuozzo Containers for Windows product fits in...
Our team is in charge of getting our Windows Virtuozzo hosts patched every month; and we use SCCM for that, not the Virtuozzo WSUS. Every month we look at the supported list of patches published on the (Virtuozzo/Odin, now Plesk?) website. This URL: http://www.virtuozzo.com/products/virtuozzo/updates/ms/pvc-46/. The exact URL has changed a few times lately, but I always managed to find back what I needed. And this month again so it seems, and this time I can't find what I need anywhere...
The only thing I could find was that the latest VZU460103 supports KB3140410: https://kb.plesk.com/en/128541. But typically there are other patches that can safely be installed without a VZUxxxxx. Where can I find that?

Virtuozzo and Plesk are absolutely different companies with different products.
This is Plesk forum, not Virtuozzo.
Regarding your question, I would suggest you ask assistance from Virtuozzo company - https://virtuozzo.com/support/

alright, will do
But why are the release notes for the monthly VZUxxxx updates published on the Plesk.com knowledge base? :) Virtuozzo Containers is even listed in the product dropdown of the KB...
