warning: SASL authentication failure / Relay Acces Denied

This morning the following patch as installed:
11.0.9 Update #29, last updated at Dec 11, 2012 06:29 AM
Plesk is running on Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS

Afterward the installation of this patch mail is no longer able to be sent.

UPDATE:
Downgrading MySQL still not working.

Hoping someone from Parallels see this I have client email accounts that have been down since this patch installed 7 hours ago...

Another Update:
I rolled back the server to before Update #29, specifically Update #28 and things are back to where they were...

Question:
Under Update and Upgrade Settings I set it to "Late Adopter" and "Notify me about available updates but do not automatically install them" to try and ward off this update until a fix is in place. Do I need to worry about this broken patch being pushed down again with these settings set?
