• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Web Presence Builder, Trial Licenses and you.

New Pleskian
Hi,

We've looking to upgrade our SiteBuilder platform to Web Presence. So we requested a trial license which we received a few hours ago.

But we keep getting:

"Error: Cannot activate license key: The key is expired and can not be updated"

Server: CentOS 6.4, selinux off, time in sync, internet access, the server can communicate with ka.parallels.com, IPv6 on or off.

Is it simply having to wait a day? Or there is some lag for our trial license to get to ka.*?

Thank you for your time.

If I correctly understood you have already correctly upgraded from SB Web Presence Builder? And you have requested trial license here - http://www.parallels.com/products/web-presence-builder/getting-started/ ?

Hi,

We are planning to upgrade.

To do so:

. We requested a trial license and received it by email yesterday;

Web Presence Builder for Parallels Automation, cPanel or Standalone Deployments (Lease) 30-day trial license:
Expiration date (GMT): Aug 22, 2013

. Created a new virtual machine running CentOS;
. Installed the software as per the instruction at;

http://www.parallels.com/products/web-presence-builder/documentation/

. When to https://sitebuilder.<server>/License;
. Log in using the admin/<pwd>;
. Click on [Activation Code];
. Enter it: A00Q00-______-______-______-GQWF68

And still get:

Error: Cannot activate license key: The key is expired and can not be updated

Looks like I'll have to actually talk to a sales rep :(

Finally it had to do with the initial email.

Sales Support provided us, quite quickly I may add, with a new one.
