web redirection 2 domains

Hi All,

I am brand new on Plesk and need your help...

I have a private server on Ubuntu-12.0.4 with Plesk 11.5.30

I created and activated 2 domains on my server: www.A.com and www.B.com

I declared the DNS infos and can access to my websites, this part is OK

But I need shop.B.com to access to www.A.com (A is a prestashop site using multi-shops)
on DNS infos I wrote shop.B.com CNAME www.A.com (in the B.com DNS part)

but shop.B.com is pointing to the defaut website (with the plesk default webpage), not the www.B.com site.
What did I missed?

I need shop.B.com to been redirected to www.A.com to let prestashop show the right shop, if I make an alias shop.B.com -> www.A.com, I access to the website (right folder) but with the wrong shop.

Hi Sergei

Thank you for your answer but as I wrote it, I can not make a domain alias as I need prestashop to show the right shop. If I make an alias prestashop can not make the difference between the shop an can not switch to the right one.

I need to go directly to A.com domain directly not to default domain

Hi

I share with you the way to proceed to use Plesk for prestashop multi shops configuration:

- create the 2 top domains in Plesk using the same web space (to avoid problems in folders access)
- create a sub domain with the same folder as the main shop (or create the second shop with the same folder as per the main shop)

that's it that's all

do not make any DNS redirection or aliases.
