• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Web Server's Default Page Show up When entering Domain IP Address

Sysmonet

New Pleskian
Hi;

When I search for a domain name A records I find the IP address and when copying the IP address in the address bar of the navigator it redirects me to the Web Server's Default Page and not the website

How can I disable Web Server's Default Page and redirect users that uses IP address to enter to the site?

Cordially

You can do this in the Tools & Settings menu => IP Addresses => Click on your IP and select a default domain.

But remember: This is not recommended. If you do this then your webpage will be down-rated by search engines due to duplicate content (read about it here: Duplicate Content | SEO Best Practices - Moz ).
If you really want to have your webpage accessible with your IP address then you probably should set up a 301-redirect via .htaccess mod_rewrite rules to your main domain.
