Question Webmail and IPv6

tft7000

New Pleskian
Hi,

where do I define the IPv6 Address for the webmail. Currently only a Plesk Default Page is coming if I access webmail by IPv6 instead of the default webmail app.
I see in /etc/apache2/plesk.conf.d/webmails/* that only IPv4 addresses are defined. Where can I configure those Ips?

Thanks, Tim

Do you have corresponding DNS record for webmail like

webmail.<domain>. AAAA <ipv6.webmail>

?

Hi @IgorG

currently I use an external DNS for that domain. and yes, I had an AAAA entry. Actually webmail was a CNAME to mail.<domain> and mail.<domain> had both entries A and AAAA. But I also tried it with a regular AAAA for webmail itself.

I kind of assumed, if mail is available on ipv4 and ipv6 then webmail should be two.

Currently I solved it by making webmail an A entry only. However the question remains.

Thanks, Tim
