  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello.

I just updated my system to PLESK 9.0.1. Is it possible to use an alternative webmail client instead of Horde?

e.g. RoundCube, atmail etc.

In my control Panel it says only Horde is available?

If yes, how do I do it?

Best regards

atmail for sure, I think they are working on integrating roundcube.

I have horde and atmail installed and seen by plesk but neither work when I go to webmail.mydomain.com and trying to find anyone to help seems to be quite hard.

...

Sounds odd...

My horde implementation works when i go to webmail.mydomain.com

To enable Atmail. Make sure its installed by going into Plesk Updates. It wasnt automatically added when I upgraded my system. If not, ticked the box and proceed to install.

Then you go to Home > Mail Server Settings
Theres an option to select which webmail program to enable server wide. Horde, Atmail or both.

Then go to Domains -> *the domain you wish to enable atmail* -> Mail -> Mail settings
From the webmail menu, select webmail application
Press OK.
