webmail does not send email

anytime when i try to send an email via webmail, the following error occurs: Invalid response code received from server.
it appeared since i tried changing the servers main ip. i set it back now to the origianl one. but the error still occur. i also had put the 127.0.0.1 on the white list. but nothing changed. has somebody an idea please?

You can try run "mchk" utility from command line.(just type: mchk). It can resolve problem.
Also you can run from command line "reconfigurator" utility(type in command line).
And after running reconfigurator choose Repair Plesk Installation item and run it.
