• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

What's new?

Is there anyway to find out what's new in all of these Plesk 8 updates we seem to be getting?

Is there a change log anywhere?

That's something I was wishing for as well. A clear page with all updates per release.

Did anyone notice yet that Plesk 8.0.0 was updated twice (or even more often!) and is not counting up to 8.0.2 yet? ;)

I'm noticing more that they still haven't really fixed anything of value, more than they haven't incremented the version numbers.
But yes, they seem to be stuck with the double-zero.

It's very embarrassing for SWsoft:

It would look like this

- Plesk 8.0.0 (2006-03-31) = initial release
- Plesk 8.0.1 (2006-04-01) = secret bugfixes (too much to tell, but not the important ones)
- Plesk 8.0.2 (2006-04-03) = more secret bugfixes (see above)
- Plesk 8.0.3 (2006-05-??) = some typos fixed
- ...
[...]
- ...
- Plesk 8.6.2 (2008-04-13) = working subdomains, postfix, mail alias, improved DNS...

Notice in there, still no mention of a functional backup/restore, and still no mention of a fix for the unacceptable server loads caused by Plesk. ;)

- Plesk 8.13.1 (2008-01-31) = backup / restore functions (BETA)

Like this?
