Resolved When will PHP 7.3 be included in Plesk Installer

As PHP version 7.3 was released on 6th December we would like to know when PHP 7.3 will be available in the Plesk installer.

*PHP 7.3 is not installed by default in new installation nor existing one so you need to manually install it until Plesk tick that option by default.

direct install via SSH

plesk installer --select-release-current --install-component php73

Thanks to @Hextrator for posting the solution to install PHP 7.3 on the server.

In order to be able to assign PHP 7.3 to a website, you first have to follow the instructions @Hextrator posted above:

Install php73 via SSH:

plesk installer --select-release-current --install-component php73

Afterwards you have to install the PHP 7.3 support via the Plesk Installer:

And then you can assign it to a website:

With Plesk Onyx 17.8.11 Update #35 and newer versiones it's not necessary to install the PHP 7.3 files via SSH as it's included in Plesk. You only have to go to the Plesk Installer to activate it.

perhaps I do not under stand you correctly, what is missing? If you mean php 7.4 than take into consider to upgrade to Plesk Obsidian. In Plesk Obsidian php 7.4 is allready available.

We just get the option for 7.3 and not 7.3.11

at your screenshot it is the component section - here you will see always only the major version
go to Plesk Panel > Tools & Settings > Php settings and tell us which php 7.3 version you see and check your update settings, php updates comes with system updates

which OS and Plesk Version including MU Level do you have? seems your system wasnt updated for a longer periode of time
and check your settings in Plesk Panel > Tools & Settings > Update & Upgrade settings > General

From what I've read 7.3.11 is only on obsidian so we are doing an upgrade this evening to obsidian
