• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi,

Microsoft was released a Web Deploy (Web Deployment Tool) that can simplifies the deployment website to the IIS Web servers, Web applications and Web sites. The Plesk 10.x product looks like not providing this feature at this time. Do you plan to support this feature in the near furture?

Thank you.

Please describe your integration scenario you wish to have with Plesk and Web Deploy?
For example, I want that system user created during subscription creation will be automatically (or on special management screen) configured as user allowed for Web Deploying.

We have some prototypes for Web Deploy integration. Probably they will be delivered in Plesk 10.4.

Guys, let's share our vision on how it will be better to introduce this feature in Plesk. Currently, we have model, when Plesk system/FTP user account created with subscription, will have proper delegation rules in IIS to be able to publish sites remotely.

Is this enough? How exactly "customers want this feature"?

Hello PavelV,

I think it is important that customers can publish complete ASP.NET website and Microsoft SQL database from within Visual Studio.

Maybe you can test to deploy a complete application via Visual Studio directly to Plesk Server.

- Files into httpdocs
- Microsoft SQL database

Possibly:
- SSL certificate
- Set file permissions
