Where does plesk count traffic for email?

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me at what point in the command chain for incoming email handling does the traffic get counted towards the plesk domain or client?

smtp?
queue?
local delivery?

Before or after?

This could make a difference in where I add the antivirus filter.

No takers on this one?

Now that I have a test server up and have looked around a bit, it seems to me that the traffic is probably counted from the qmail-send/pop3/imap logs.

This would mean that anything removed before the local delivery may not be counted towards the domain perhaps.

If anyone has any other comments I'd appreciate them.

I am trying to figure out whether anti virus running in a qmail-queue wrapper will stop the received smtp traffic being logged.

Cheers
Graham
