  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Where on the disk does Plesk store Admin Custom Menu

MHC_1

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
almaLinux
Plesk version and microupdate number
Obsidian
We have multiple Plesk Obsidian servers.

One server has a bunch of custom menu options "Links to Additional Services" on the Admin account main menu.
All servers have the same Extensions/Apps installed.

We want to copy this menu Links to Additional Services" to other servers so all servers have the same menu options.

Where is the source data file located on disk so we can copy and paste from one server to other servers?

The custom buttons aren't stored in a file, but in the custom_buttons table of PSA databases where most Plesk related settings are stored.

Thanks. Is there a way to export this specific data to other Plesk installations? Such as a way to manually edit the PSA db?

You could use phpMyAdmin (Tools & Settings > Database Servers, click the little icon next the main MySQL/MariaDB) to access the PSA database and make an export of the records and import them on to other servers.

It's generally not recommend to make any changes to the PSA database directly as this could break you Plesk installation. But is relatively strait forward if you have a little bit of database knowledge. Still, it goes whiteout saying that you'll have to proceed at your own risk.

That worked perfectly. Also good to learn my way around the Plesk mechanics a bit more. Only note for anyone else reading is that the URL specified in the SQL rows is absolute so the server domain name would need to be updated for different servers but aside from that all swift and smooth. Thanks!
