  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

WHMCS or CBM?

yabado

Regular Pleskian
I am just starting out with Plesk Panel 11.5 and wanted to reach out for advice on billing.

Should I use WHMCS or CBM ( Customer Business Manager )?

CBM looks better since it is so tightly integrated with the panel, BUT from what I have read it is EOL'd and will no longer be supported. This concerns me.

Would really like to hear back from other users that have used both and that could recommend any advice.

thanks.

WHMCs is widely accepted in the market, plugin rich and cheap. Good thing is that for WHMCs we are providing Plesk plugin which is far superior to the default one - it is already available in WHMCs.

But you can also consider smth like HostBill or Blesta.
PBAs is very poerwful, yet you may find it expensive comparing to WHMCs.
CBM is unlikely to have new features, only fixes, so I would discourage starting with it.
