• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Wordpress Toolkit - permissions fix

Paul Creedy

Basic Pleskian
I have a site which I'm fairly sure has a Wordpress folder/file permission issue somewhere. Works perfectly well on the original host but when moved to Plesk, it has weird issues such as parts of the page not loading.

On my other hosting with cpanel the Wordpress toolkit has an extremely helpful "Fit folder permissions" button which has saved my sanity more than once.

Does the Wordpress toolkit on Plesk have a similar feature, because if it does I can't find it? Alternatively are there any known extensions etc that could help.

Sure, you can check the security status of your instance and make sure that "Permissions for files and directories" security checker is applied. What's your Plesk version?

It's Plesk Onyx
Version 17.5.3 Update #47, last updated on May 17, 2018

Thank you. I missed that option when I was looking.
