• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question worker_connections are not enough

LucaB.

Basic Pleskian
Hi,
we have a Plesk 12.30 #60 with nginx. In this server (2CPU and 2GB RAM) are running 50 websites and this morning ngnix writes "worker_connections are not enough". In /etc/nginx/nginx.conf I've changed it from 1024 to 2048. it's enough? There are other parameters to be controlled?

The website will increase to 70 in a few days.

Luca

There is following formula for determining nginx worker_processes and worker_connections:

max_clients = worker_processes * worker_connections

Where worker_processes [number of processor cores], for instance:

# cat /proc/cpuinfo |grep processor
processor : 0
processor : 1
processor : 2
processor : 3
processor : 4
processor : 5

So,

worker_processes 6;

Thus, you can calculate the desired value for worker_connections
