Issue WP Toolkit Cloned Site

Hi,

Cloned a website yesterday onto do a different domains subdomain maindomain.com > sub.otherdomain.com and the main domain (maindomain.com) was then linked to that cloned copy (sub.otherdomain.com) via WP ToolKit. Have detached that Wordpress on the maindomain.com, but now the rescan isn't picking up the original domain the Wordpress install which is still there, can see all files etc in the directories.

Also both the domains databases seem to be running off the same database even though in the wp-config.php files they both have different database credentials. I've checked in /etc and /conf for both domains and they all look correct and for any symlinks etc and can't see any, so I'm not sure whats happening if anyone could shed some light on this please.

plesk repair web domain isn't reporting anything either.

If I change a setting on maindomain.com backend of Wordpress, it changes on on sub.otherdomain.com

maindomain.com wp-config.php
define( 'DB_NAME', 'wp_site_live' );

sub.otherdomain.com wp-config.php
define( 'DB_NAME', 'wp_site_dev' );

Both databases are attached to different domains

I've you detach your Wordpress installation a file named .wp-toolkit-ignore gets added the the document root of the installation. If you deleted that file, your site will be picked when re-scanning again.

Are you using Redis by any chance?

Yes they are using Redis.... I'm assuming object cache is updating both?

Yes. The cloned sites likely used the same cache as the original site. Configure a different redis prefix for your cloned site or disconnect/remove the redis config completely.
