• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved wrapper file empty / Permission denied in Plesk

Fabrice Pajak

New Pleskian
Hi,
I was having trouble with Server Backup these 4 last days, and Plesk Onyx would not update packages or itself anymore.
After trying a manual update with SSH, I get
---s--x--- 1 root psaadm 23104 Oct 28 09:41 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mod_wrapper
---s--x--- 1 root psaadm 0 Dec 13 10:32 /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/wrapper

wrapper file is empty (0 byte).

Now in Plesk I have "Permission denied" errors in Plesk modules related to the system and servers:

For example: sysinfo failed: sh: /opt/psa/admin/bin/sysinfo: Permission denied

Impossible to update, manage servers, view server info ...

This is propably because the wrapper fil is empty and not working. Sounds like Plesk is corrupted.
My question: HOW CAN I REINSTALL PLESK CORE ? or re-install a correct wrapper file ?

Thank you for your help .

Fabrice
