"www" doesn't work with domain alias!!!

I created a domain alias for my domain1.com and when I went to http://domainalias.com I get the domain1.com so till there everything works fine. But when I typed http://www.domainalias.com (with the www prefix) I get a 404 error page.
I re-check my dns settings but it seems ok (in fact I let it by default).
In the domain alias properties, I just enable Web alias and disable the rest. So where is the problem? How can I make the www prefix to work?
