www prefix not working

I have just created a new domain in Plesk 9 for a domain that I jusr delegated. The mail accounts are all working and I can see the domain with a call in a browser without the www. prefix but with the www's it just goes to the default Plesk page saying the domain is not configured properly.

Really weird as I have over 200 domains and never had this problems before.

I have tried making a new CNAME record in the DNS replacing the A record but no change. I have changed the SOA to a shorter periods.

Still no joy. Any words of wisdom out there?

Fixed

Answering my own post I may be able to help someone else.

I changed the hosting service type to "No Hosting" and then changed it back. What every that did fixed my isses and can now see the web site with with a www prefix.

Strange but kinda like the M$oft universal fix.....reboot. lol

Did you have the WWW tickbox selected before you re-created the domain?

as www.domain.com was showing plesk page it means that DNS was OK. The problem was in apache configuration.

Try to use websrvmng next time:

# /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/websrvmng -v -a

it will rebuild apache configuration from scratch.
