  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

You can set the www prefix checkbox at the domain creation process. If the www check box selected you will allow users to access the site by a common and habitual URL like www.your-domain.com.

Having the www alias preceding a domain name will not cost you anything, but it will allow users to get to the site no matter what they type in their browsers: www.your-domain.com and your-domain.com will both point to the same.

Also it is possible to create a domain alias:

Domains > domain_name.tld > Domain Aliases

And set it like www.domain_name.tld

Hello,

To make sites available with www prefix, go Home > Domains > select domains you wish to modify and click on "Modify" option > Scroll down to Preferences and switch the WWW prefix on.

Regards,
Denis.

Is there a option to put www standard on "ON" when creating a domain , for example a change in the database?

Is it possible to set the option WWW to "on" on new domains for example by making a change in the psa database?

I Mean a option in the database,

There must be a rule in the psa database who is set standard to false , when i can set it to true it must be solved.

Does anywone knows which dbrule that is? i have searched but could not find it...

Best regards,

P.s. I checked the domain template, but i could not find the option WWW on in there ... But maybe i looked to quick..
Thx Anyway
