we would like to use xcache to improve performance, does anyone used xcache with plesk 12 centos?

its safe, works fine?

thanks for advanced

Hi hardbrasil,

tweaking a dedicated server is always a good idea. You could start with using nginx, optimize individual rewrites and individual location definitions and still can continue with additional opcode cachers. Be aware that tweaking is a very individual modification and always depends on your very own server and it's configurations and modifications and as well on your used content. The more information you provide about your server, your environment and your configurations, the better will get the suggestions you might receive. Errors from logs can help as well to find ways to optimize your performance.

Is it "safe" to use XCACHE on CentOS on a server with Plesk 12? Sure it is.
Does it work fine? Well, as stated before, it really depends on your environment and content - but in general just try it out for yourself. It is easy to install and as well easy to remove.
