xinetd.d missing

I installed Plesk 8.2.0 on my debian 4 server all it's running except for the ftp server, ifound this KB http://kb.swsoft.com/article_169_1025_en.html
but my server havent xinetd.d

what i can do?

I believe Debian uses inetd instead of xinetd.
