Your input on server upgrade/customer migration

Hello,

I'm just after your opinion on a task coming up. One of our servers has approximately 320 domains on CentOS 5 with php 5.2 on Plesk 10. We also have another server with CentOS 6 with CloudLinux on Plesk 12 with approximately 25 domains.

We would like to get everyone on the older server onto CentOS 6 with CloudLinux and Plesk 12.

Would you perform an upgrade on the old server? Or would it be easier and cleaner to migrate those 320 domains over to the new server?

Plesk does not support major OS upgrade (dist-upgrade).

So, I think that OS upgrade on old server is bad idea. Therefore I think that migration on new server would be better solution. Also you can ask free migration assistance here - http://odin.com/products/plesk/free-migration-support/
