Resolved Yum or dnf?

Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.58 Update #2,

Given my version of Plesk should I run yum or dnf to update the kernel?

i am asking because I recently ran dnf update on a VPS with Plesk which may have been being updated with Yum and after that I could not restart the VPS - a message about "tainted kernel" (as described here).

On Alma, the correct package manager to use is dnf.

It doesn't matter because since RHEL 8 the yum command is just an alias to DNF.
