zone file - problem with domain

A few months back, I temporarily added an a record on one of my domains for another domain I had while I was messing with it.

Unfortunately, I don't remember which one it is, and instead of going domain to domain through hundreds of domains, I was wondering if there was an easy way to figure out which zone file it is finding the domain A record in.

I have tried doing a grep 'domainname' * in the /var/named/run-root/var directory but didn't come up with anything

But if I do a dig on the server, it responds with the ip...what should I do?
