I have to keep logging in to clear this entry under "Public IP Address".
I have a unique LAN configuration that requires that this field is clear. I have also tried setting it to the LAN IP. A few days later, it automatically changes itself.

The only event that will successfully call the script /root/test-handler.sh is when I create a new mailbox (Mail account created).
The script is not called when I:
- create a domain
- delete a domain
- create a subdomain
- delete a subdomain.

Thanks for this suggestion. You will see from the image I posted that this is the first item on the list that I have tried and it does not call the script.

Does plesk "backup manager" follow symlinks and backup all of the data pointed to from the symlink?
It appears that the plesk "backup manager" backs up all files in the "httpdocs" dir.

It appears that this only happens when creating the hosting using the Plesk API with the following XML:

When "SSL/TLS support" is checked, I can manually browse to Example Domain and the connection will be secured with Plesk self-signed certificate, as shown here:

There was a lot of manual configuration to do, once I got the /etc/proftpd.conf file loaded with data. This included setting permissions on files and adding several log files that did not exist. I assumed that the Plesk install would have already configured everything.
All is working now.
New install of Plesk 12.5 on Centos 7
when I put this into bash: service xinetd status
it returns that the service is "Active"
I run: tail -f /var/log/messages
Then, I run: telnet 127.0.0.1 21
and I immediately get "Connection closed by foreign host."
Then /var/log/messages returns:
