    Resolved Secondary DNS services

I did the same thing with three 1GB Linode servers (spread out regionally). It is an excellent plugin. I ended up switching to BuddyNS because the name resolution has been faster, it's cheaper (than 3 $5 instances) for fewer than 100 zones, and it was 3 fewer things for me to maintain. I didn't...

    Resolved Secondary DNS services

Did you ever get this to work? It is my understanding that I'd need to use their API to add new zones (since I don't want to add them manually), however, the plugin referenced in their Plesk setup guide hasn't been updated in 3 years, and I got an error when I tried to install it in the latest...

Resolved Plesk Extension Development - Freelancers?

I'm not sure if this violates the rules. If it does, you can delete it. Is there a more appropriate place to ask? Is anyone around here willing to develop a custom extension for me (as a freelancer)? I can eventually do it myself, but my time is very limited and if someone is a Plesk ninja...

    Question Azure DNS Extension

I saw the Azure DNS Extension. I was interested in trying it, but before I go through the trouble, I have a question: Are new zones automatically added to Azure DNS as they are added to Plesk, or must they be added manually (as is the case with the DigitalOcean DNS plugin)? I'm currently...

Resolved New Domain - Digital Ocean DNS Enabled by Default

It appears that this is not possible with the extension, which doesn't make it suitable for automatic provisioning. I removed it and am using the Slave DNS Manager extension now.

Resolved New Domain - Digital Ocean DNS Enabled by Default

Is there a way to make new domains sync with DigitalOcean DNS (via the extension) by default? Currently, when I create a new domain, it appears that I have to activate it manually.

Question Allow Git command line access under chrooted bash?

I'd like to allow some users git command-line use from a chrooted bash session so that they can link to and manage their Plesk git repo (or remote to any repo, if desired). I have to questions: How do I do this (correctly)? I saw this article re: adding SSH, and I assume that I would do...

    Resolved Advice on OS/host/solution

Thank you for your answers. Of course I want to use the solution(s) that is/are best for me, however, it is a bit troublesome to have to keep reloading/configuring/testing in various different environments or when something breaks and I can't fix it. It is why I was hoping that someone might...

    Preferred backup solution?

Similar to Chris, I mounted a DigitalOcean Spaces (S3-compatible) bucket and have my backups go there. If you need 1TB or more, though, DreamHost's S3-compatible object storage becomes cheaper per GB (their customer service isn't as good as DO, though).

    Resolved Advice on OS/host/solution

I'm just getting started with Plesk 17.5 (coming from WHM/cPanel). I have experienced many issues and I'm trying to work through them. Current, remaining issues: SELinux doesn't like alternate vhosts directory (which is documented, though somewhat ambiguously) Clicking "Web Statistics" on any...
