If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
I know, but I was unable to assign anything to use php-fpm. After a lot of wrestling, it became evident that nginx was not running at all and php-fpm is tied to nginx in Plesk. No nginx means no php-fpm.
I had some issues with getting nginx started, but I worked it out and was then able to use...
Ok, I'm going to answer my own question here. Yes, you can run php-fpm with CentOS 6 and Apache 2.2. If you're having issues getting php-fpm to be selectable for a domain, you may have experienced the same issue I did. I had a problem with nginx. It actually wasn't running. You'll know that this...
I have a situation that might be becoming increasingly common. I have a small SAAS platform where I provide an information repository for a customer that is basically an aliased domain. I'm using a multi-site setup of Drupal to serve multiple sites off of one instance. This works quite well on...
I'd be interested in having a way to have both a hosting instance and a mail instance separate for the same domain. I'm trying to accomplish this and it doesn't appear to be possible because I can only use the domain name once either as a primary domain name or as an alias to another domain...
In case this matters... consulted this knowledgebase article to try and start php-fpm from the command line:
https://kb.odin.com/en/127195
Trying to start a php-fpm process from the command line results in the "No pool defined" error. The knowledgebase says to fix this, I need to enable at...
I have a new install of Plesk 12.5 and I'm running into an issue with enabling the PHP-FPM handlers. Even though they're set as enabled in my PHP Settings and I've configured all of the subscriptions to default to a PHP-FPM handler, the only handlers I'm allowed to choose are the FastCGI or CGI...
In my panel.log file, I see this:
PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class InvalidArgument in /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/mobile-tools/exceptions.php on line 36
I've reinstalled the Mobile Manager. I'm no longer getting error emails every 10 minutes, but I'm still not able to use my Mobile Manager app from my iOS device. When I try to use it, I get this message: "The internal error has occurred. Please contact our support services."
I've removed and...
Thanks, I'll give that a try later this week.
What about the other table I'm getting error messages for? Where is the "push_subscriptions" table stored in and how do I get it back?
Yesterday I attempted to add a couple of modules onto my Plesk 12.5 installation using the Plesk Updates and Upgrades control panel. It failed and Plesk presented me with a link to clean up and repair the failed upgrade the next time I logged in. I clicked on that link and the control panel hung...
Yes I know that, but if I add it as a separate domain I have to first delete my alias, which I don't want to do because I want the Web part aliased to a parent domain and the mail part handled by its own domain. I was able to address this by overriding the webroot in the "Webserver Settings" for...
I've got a situation in which I need to have a set of mail accounts that share a domain name with a domain that's already in use as a domain alias and because the domain is already in use, I'm unable to create a new account using that domain. I tried explicitly adding "www" to the domain alias...
fabrii's solution worked for me
Fabrii's solution to set a custom session.save_path worked for me. I was previously having a hell of a time figuring out why any PHP session over FastCGI basically vanished immediately.
Just use this as your session.save_path:
{DOCROOT}/../var/tmp
I'm running Plesk 8.01 FC4 and just tried the rpm for PHP 5.1.6 and my Plesk VPS didn't like it at all.
I didn't notice anything bad happening to the site that I had up. The PHP scripts were all working just fine, but my Plesk Control Panel stopped working properly. When I tried to log into...
