Same problem after upgrade from 11.5 to 12.0 on Centos. Same error messages in the log. Any fix? Another topic suggests you can fix it for a fresh install by removing --install-component agent. Not sure how to do that for an upgraded installation.

To turn off (i.e. disable) ftp in Plesk, I just did: chkconfig ftp_psa off That made the above change in the config file and restarted xinetd for me, without having to do either manually. Is there a reason why the chkconfig method is a bad idea? TN

I have the same problem. Using the CLI, I got an error about PHP ioncube not being compatible (I've manually upgraded PHP to 5.2.17 and the Plesk version would require a downgrade). I removed the PHP5 support option in the CLI wizard and let that complete, first to 10.1.0 then to 10.1.1...
