On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
Here we are again... just before Christmas. I'm running a new dedicated server since september without problems. On this server i've 70 websites, none of them is so heavy (max 4gb and most of them 100-200mb), and the daily backups are scheduled from 0.00 to about 9.00, two backup every 15...
Yes, i found it the day after my post. On the destination server there is MySql 5.5 (very strange but...it is). So i think it's not a good idea to try an upgrade on a production server and i will try migration on the next server. THanks
Good afternoon everyone,
i'm trying to migrate a website (wordpress+invision forum) from a Plesk Onyx to a Plesk Obsidian.
Using the migration manager i got this error at the end of the process:
All others DB and files and mailbox have been migrated correctly.
Then i've tried to import the db...
Same problem here.
APT UPGRADE has installed some packages but nothing about libssl
Exactly like the other user i've only libssl1.0.0 installed so i'm not sure that removing that is a good idea...
EDIT
Version
Plesk Onyx v17.8.11_build1708180301.19 os_Debian 8.0
OS
Debian 8.11
You are right, i didn't specify that speed is not a problem. We are running less than 100 websites with most of them used as a static presentation and mailing. Some e-commerce but none of them with high traffic. Having a 32gb ram and 8 thread Xeon cpu is more than enough. So my need is not size...
Assuming you can choose the disk configuration for a new Plesk dedicated server which one of this two options you prefer and why?
1. SoftRAID 4x2TB SATA
2. SoftRAID 2x480GB SSD
3. SoftRAID 2x450GB NVME
You the Man! Very interesting....
running SMARTCTL - A /DEV/SDA i got
This means that SDA hard disk has 45369 hours running life.
But this means also that errors in the log are much older because they happened at 40623 and 39280 hour.
Doing a simple math calc (45369 - 40623) / 24 i get that...
Thanks for your explanation, very helpful.
Yes, 3 disks on raid 1 is a possible configuration. The max disk failure is N-1 so with 3 disk the server should run with 2 disk damaged. But obviously i don't want to test if it's true.
Honestly i don't know if my Ovh Raid Software is capable of...
UPDATE
running smartctl -l error /dev/sdc i got
running smartctl -l error /dev/sdb i got
running smartctl -l error /dev/sda i got
So the problem seems to be on SDA. But i'm honest i can't understand this log and the way in which it is related to the OVH warning after replacing...
Thank you Peter for your fast reply as usual.
running FDISK -L i got:
I think we have 3 disk in RAID 1 mode, take a look at this note on my OVH dashboard:
Your instructions are to be used in case i decide to proceed with replacing the disk (backup, restore...). At the moment I am still...
Hello everyone,
this question is not directly related to the Plesk software but very important if someone else has his Plesk running on a software raid on OVH.
Maybe someone can recommend me the best option to follow with this problem.
Last weekend the server went suddenly offline and i got this...
Done as explained. First thing i've seen is the big difference between the original PermissionsInfo.php (1700 bytes) and the attached file (only 149 bytes). This is very strange to me, can you please check the content?
Anyway trying to test if it works now i get this error during the importing...
I'm trying to migrate subscriptions from a Plesk Onyx to a new Plesk Obsidian dedicated server. I found the new Hosting Plan Exporter extension that should help me to avoid manually recreate all hosting plans... just exporting from old server end importing to the new one.
The .json file is read...
I want to report a strange situation on one of my websites. This subscription has 3 database, the website db (wordpress), the forum db and a stat db.
According to my Plesk PhpMyAdmin the first one is 12mb, the forum si 493mb and the third db is less than 1mb. Total should be a little bit more...
