Issue Server failure - Plesk backup restore process?

Hello We've had a disaster with our windows server, we think a windows update corrupted the system. The data centre has spent the past few days trying to revive the OS, but we've had to start from scratch. Our old server setup was: x2 SSD drives in raid 0 Plesk backed up to another internal...

Question Change virtual hosts location for one domain ?

Hi - I'm having disk i/o issues on my server. So I've had an NVMe drive installed for testing. Would it be possible to configure one domain/account to use the new drive rather than change the virtual hosts location for all domains using the Plesk reconfigurator ?

Hi Igor, Thanks for the reply. That's the first thing I did - but Plesk isn't picking up the new version for some reason ?

Issue Plesk 12.8 - Amazon S3 scheduled backups

Plesk has always been behind when it comes to backups. Slightly improved when they released dropbox backups, but even that didn't work. Now with 17.8 we have a whole host of cloud backup options which is long overdue. So I started to configure my accounts to use Amazon S3. Manually backed them...

Issue run task errors in event viewer

I had the same problem. My domain is split - website hosted on Plesk server - email hosted externally. Plesk was trying to deliver the admin mail internally but the mailbox didn't exist as my mail is external. Switched off the mail service for that domain and Plesk started delivering the mail...

Issue Dropbox backup - some backups stuck "running..."

I now have 3 websites refusing to send to Dropbox. The other 30 or so are fine, but these are websites below 1GB. The 3 websites which are being backed up but not transferring to Dropbox are around 2.5GB, 5.5GB and 32GB. Is there a dropbox transfer size limit ?

Issue Dropbox backup - some backups stuck "running..."

Hello, As far as I'm aware you cannot exclude log files using the Dropbox extension ? Perhaps you could add this as a feature as the log error messages are a pain and are perhaps the reason why certain backups are failing ?

Issue Dropbox backup - some backups stuck "running..."

Hello, That hasn't worked - I've even deleted the plugin and tried again. Same problem. The website is being backed up as I'm receiving log errors: @ESCAPE_VALUE_BEGIN@[719f888e-5726-4d59-8602-e109b8683a10]: Unable to get attributes of the file...

Issue Dropbox backup - some backups stuck "running..."

The dropbox extension has been running ok - apart from the past few days 2 websites are stuck with the status "running" and fail to complete. Any idea why this happens (no errors) and how to resolve ? Thanks.

Issue Minor issues occurred during website backup

I did see that - but it doesn't really help with the issue I have. The backup process is ignoring the "Exclude log files" option.

Issue Minor issues occurred during website backup

Hello, I have recently upgraded our Plesk server from 12 to 17.0.17 and installed the dropbox extension. All works fine apart from some annoying warning messages during the backup process for all domains. I have checked the "Exclude log files" box but the backup process appears to ignore this...
