Issue 500 error: Website slowed down after ppa:ondrej/apache2 install

Wait, I can't quite follow you - what patch? Problem is: I'm on Apache 2.4.49-3 right now. According to the docs I should be at 2.4.29-1 (Ubuntu 18).

Issue 500 error: Website slowed down after ppa:ondrej/apache2 install

Okay, so we all know about the 500 error this morning. The early workaround provided by Plesk didn't work for me, so I did what a few user suggested: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:eek:ndrej/apache2 sudo apt install apache2 This worked perfectly fine. However I noticed that my website slowed down...

    Issue All Domains Apache2/Error 500

Resolved Execute cronjob as system user?

oh well, okay I did not see that. Thanks!

Resolved Execute cronjob as system user?

Okay, I finally found the solution. The only way to create a cronjob as a system user is to use the search function. The UI has no other way to find this second "Scheduler" page, which is, like you said, within a subscription. This is really really bad UX. Or - possibly I'm too stupid :D

Resolved Execute cronjob as system user?

Please help me understand system users in Plesk. The system user of my website is called "Frankenstein". In the file manager I can see that the folders have permissions set for Frankenstein and the group "psacln". Now the problem is that I need to have a cronjob that is executed by Frankenstein...

Issue Sometimes http client requests need >20s to answer (Nginx, PHP-FPM)

Hi there, I host an online forum using Plesk. Since I migrated to a new server I'm running into a severe problem: All client requests get immediate responses from the server, except a few that take around 18-23 seconds. So the users either get an instant or a super slow response. It's not due...

Resolved Plesk Core Cron Error: ioncube_loader

Hey guys, I have the same problem. I get a mail every minute. Sitting at about 40.000 mails currently. I can't find anything related to ionCube in these directories: /etc/php/7.0/apache2/conf.d/ /etc/php/7.0/cgi/conf.d /etc/php/7.0/cli/conf.d /etc/php/7.0/fpm/conf.d Please help! The errors...

Issue Download Plesk mysql database on broken server via SSH?

I managed to recover my server, so everything is back to normal. For testing purposes I successfully imported a db backup from var/lib/psa/dumps/domains/... What I am still not sure about: My back up settings say [Server storage in /var/lib/psa/dumps]. When I manually download a complete...

Thank you! Where are these Plesk backups located?

Issue Download Plesk mysql database on broken server via SSH?

Oh my god, thank you so much! Unfortunately I am running Debian 8. Okay, so what is the best way to restore these dumps onto a new server? Basically what I need to do is to get a new Plesk instance running on a new server and then somehow get all the content from the not-working server back...

Issue Download Plesk mysql database on broken server via SSH?

I did something incredibly stupid. This command ruined file permissions on my whole server: Nothing works any longer. MySQL fails, I cannot access any of my websites/Plesk backend or anything else. The only thing I have is root ssh access. The only thing I need from my server is the current...

Thank you. Yes, that would have been very helpful I guess.

Resolved 504 timeout once old server is turned off after migrating to new server via Plesk

I actually just found the error. So, this was a tough case. I've spent so many evenings trying different setups, switching operating systems, different DNS settings, etc. - when in the end, this had nothing to do with the server itself. It was a simple script that was fetching a rss feed from...

Resolved 504 timeout once old server is turned off after migrating to new server via Plesk

So this is a rather strange error. After migrating my websites via Plesk Migrator to my new server (from Ubuntu to Debian), I get a 504 error when trying to access one of my websites. However, once I turn on the old server everything works just fine. Which is strange, because the domain points...
