Resolved 1 Plesk server stuck at 12.5

I have 4 Plesk servers that started out running on Plesk 10.
These servers were upgraded several times and all ended up at version 12.5

At the end of last year I was able to upgrade 3 of these servers to Onyx.
Although nothing changed to the upgrade settings I'm not getting beyond the 12.5

Because the CentOS is of release 5.11, I'm considering to do a fresh install.

Yes, Plesk Onyx does not support CentOS5 - https://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/onyx/software-requirements/#s2-1

How do distribution upgrades generally work out?

I have no experience there, but in this case it becomes tempting.
A way back is provided by making a snapshot of the virtual machine on which it is running.

How do distribution upgrades generally work out?

We support only Debian/Ubuntu dist-upgrade but not CentOS.
It would be better solution to migrate your server to new server with modern OS version and Plesk.
