• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Issue 403 Forbidden after CLI install of SuiteCRM 8.5.0 on Plesk server

smilan

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS Linux 7.9.2009
Plesk version and microupdate number
Obsidian v18.0.57
Hello, I instaled SuiteCRM 8 on client subdomain but after installing I only get 403 Forbidden when I try to access CRM instance on https://newcrm.mydomain.com. I did try to read threads on Plesk, SuiteCRM, and Linux forums, but nothing is happening. I did change permissions and owners, tried to mess with htaccess but no change.
Server configuration:
VPS at Hetzner
CentOS Linux 7.9.2009
Plesk Obsidian v18.0.57

I will appreciate any help

What is the full log entry for the 403 error in your error_log?

I think that the Hosting Settings are pointing to a wrong or non-existent document root directory. Else the missing index entry would not be logged. Or does your document root not have any content?

There are files in document root, but no index.php or anything similar in it. I am waiting for reply from SuiteCRM forum.
