  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

New Pleskian
Hello, I have recently created a website in Plesk file manager. The homepage is situated in the directory httpdocs under file Default.aspx and it shows up fine in the web browser, the problem is I wanted to create a new page add a link from the homepage.

I tried to create the new page in file manager by clicking on add new and create new file, then added file name latestnews.htlm to httpdocs and the file was successfuly created. I then added content to the file and saved, however when I clicked on open in browser it does not show , only the following message appears: Not Found The requested document was not found on this server.

I tried uploading latestnews.htlm.zip to archive and extracting, but still the same message appeared in the browser.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

I just created a webpage using Notepad app on my computer , saved it and it displayed in Mozzila browser, however when I uploaded it to my httpdocs folder in Plesk and tried to open in Browser I again get the above 404 Not Found message. Where am I going wrong?

Resolved

I re-named the file in the httpdocs folder from latestnews.htlm to latestnews.aspx and it now appears in the Browser.
