500 - Internal server error horde webmail

Hello,

There is a problem with horde. I am getting follow error:

500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.


cd %plesk_bin%
websrvmng --reconfigure-webmail

cd %plesk_bin%
defpackagemng --fix --type=webmail.horde

works fine but don't fix the problem

How can i fix this?

- windows web 2008 server (32bits)
- plesk 9.2.3

I am experiensing the Same problem...

If i click the webmail site from the server it is returning:
HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error
Module IIS Web Core
Notification Unknown
Handler Not yet determined
Error Code 0x80070005
Config Error Cannot read configuration file due to insufficient permissions
Config File \\?\D:\inetpub\vhosts\webmail\horde\web.config


The Problem cannot be fixed with the above commands.

System: Win 2008 x64 Std
Plesk 9.2.1 & 9.2.3

Temporary Fix

Ok I found a way to make it work... and now i am checking the problem..


Opened: Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

goto: Server > Sites > webmail(hordE) and from the Right Side: Manage Web Site > Advanced Settings

I changed the parameter:
Under (General)
Application Pool from: Plesk(default)(2.0)(pool) to DefaultAppPool

And it works.... I do not know the risks and the problems you may have... that was my way to fix it.

create a backup
remove horde form the plesk installer
rename or remove horde folder in webmail
install horde on plesk installer

Webmail Horde error

i am facing te same issue for webmail. But after running the second utility i.e defpackagemng --fix --type=webmail.horde i am getting the below error.

The issue can be related to incorrect permissions assigned to IWAM_plesk(default) account that is used as identity for Webmail application pool in IIS.
Try to add Full Control permissions for that account on folder C:\inetpub\vhosts\webmail\horde and remove Deny permissions for group psacln (IWAM_plesk(default) is a member of that group).

The best way I found was changing "webmail(mewebmail)" application pool from PleskApplicationPool to MailEnableApplicationPool itself that would solve the problem easilly

I have this same issue here, i disabe the friendly error page, and i´m getting this error about the php-cgi.exe.

HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error
C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional\PleskPHP5\php-cgi.exe - The FastCGI process exited unexpectedly

i already run everything in this post and in other post to try to solve it, what i need to do to fix this issue.

I´m with this issue for more then one week and nothing to fix it.

Please help me.
