Whoa, thanks! I will look into this tomorrow. The upgrade nuked my httpd.include, but i backed it up first, so I restored the backup and all was fine.
 
*BIG* sigh of relief. Due to commotion around the house, I tried this from home, it went through fine. Now its running all 7.5.4, 7.5.2 is gone. THANK YOU very much, ShadowMan and jamesyeeoc, you guys are life savers.
 
The actual thanks should go to CiViX for having posted what he found to work in his situation.

My boss had remembered participating in a post about a similar upgrade problem, and we went searching... but we thank you.
