• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

8.1.1 upgrade stops SpamAssasin working

Hi,

I have very little server knowledge so please bear with me.

I upgraded our server today to Plesk 8.1.1 and ever since then SpamAssasin as appeared to "stop working".

The service is running but spam emails are now coming through. If I go to the training page they are not being marked spam or not spam, just left grey as if they were ignored. I have trained 20 emails since the upgrade which has had no effect on the server.

I have done multiple things. I have reset the server, reset the service itself, neither to any avail.

My spam filtering was working perfectly before the upgrade but now is not.

Short of resetting my training I do not know what to try.

Another thing to note. When I upgraded the server, the SpamAsassin service was disabled.

Any ideas?

When you go to Plesk Control Panel, Server > Services management , is SpamAssassin running?

As I said in my post, yes it is. I've also reset it several times. It is also enabled in global and user settings.
