• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

8.6 to 9.3 License Problem

After upgrading from 8.6 to 9.3, I see this when I login:

Error: The license key is invalid. In order to use the Parallels Plesk Panel, please obtain and install a new functioning license key. The amount of currently used resources overrides the limits defined by your license.

All menu options are disabled. I have the option to order a new license (!!!) or upload a license - but that was provided is part of a hosting package.

I know Plesk needs to use port 5224 to check the license. This is open (as it was before the upgrade!)

Any ideas?

Plesk 8.x license format is not compatible with Plesk 9.x version. You should upgrade your 8.x license for using it on 9.x version. Contact your sales representative with all license, money, etc. related questions.

I don't have a rep - I have a dedicated server from GoDaddy and they do not offer any support for the dedicated servers, so I wouldn't even know who to call. HELP

You should just be able to have GoDaddy generate a new license for you.
