• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

I have bought a new server with Plesk 8 and the OS is FreeBSD 5.4-RELEASE-p14

My first question is:

When I want to add new ip address the netmask always changed to 255.255.255.255

Here is an example:
The True IP with Netmask: 123.123.123.123/255.255.255.192

After I added to plesk and rereading, it showing ip like this:
123.123.123.123/255.255.255.255

I have tried to add ip via SSH with
Code:
ifconfig vr0 add 123.123.123.123 netmask 255.255.255.192

Then I return to plesk ip manager, it added correct but ip is exclusive. I changed it to shared.

So how can I fix, adding new ip problem?

My second question is:

On the service management SMTP Service (Qmail) offline and never starting via plesk but when I typed:

Code:
srv# /usr/local/psa/rc.d/qmail status
qmail-send (pid 4278) is running...

SSH showing running? Is this service running or down? How can I understand and fix this?

Thank soooo much for your replies and helps now.
