  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

A question on Spam RBL settings in Plesk

Quick question: When I add servers into the MAPS zone settings on my Plesk server, how does the spam get processed? If an RBL check flags a message as spam, does it then get passed onto my server, which will in turn process it as configured (i.e., rename the subject, delete, etc), or does the message get rejected entirely? I'm trying to cut down the amount of spam on this box, but I don't want to bounce any non-spam messages. Thanks in advance.

The source of the message is checked, not the message. The message is returned to the server with a nice message. The local filter will not process the message.
