I would like to warn you that in the coming days is expected a major Plesk Onyx update. While MU#5 is based on the same technology as other updates), but it's significantly bigger than others.

Therefore, I ask you not to be afraid of this, be careful and patient during the installation of this important Plesk update.

I hope everything will be easy and successful for your Plesk Onyx server :)

I hope so too ;-) Thanks for this message - i will give you feedback

OS: Debian 8.6 / Clean Plesk Onyx Installation (Version 17.0.17) + Plesk Extension like Fail2Ban etc.

Since 1st Nov it works fine - but since the last update i get this errors.

Also i get this error after a clean and complete new Plesk installation (after apt-get update)

Reading package lists... Done
N: Ignoring file 'plesk.list.ai_back' in directory '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/' as it has an invalid filename extension
W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://autoinstall.plesk.com/debian/PMM_0.1.10/ jessie/all amd64 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/autoinstall.plesk.com_debian_PMM%5f0.1.10_dists_jessie_all_binary-amd64_Packages
)
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

and after "apt-get upgrade -y" i get this error -.-

These informations can be ignored - they are just informations for you, which don't conflict at all with what ever.

According to: N: Ignoring file 'plesk.list.ai_back' in directory '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/' as it has an invalid filename extension

Plesk uses temporary backup - files, during update/upgrade/patch processes, with the ending "*.ai_back", they should get deleted after the process has been finished - if not, you may delete them manually with the example command: => rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/plesk.list.ai_back

According to: W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://autoinstall.plesk.com/debian/PMM_0.1.10/ jessie/all amd64 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/autoinstall.plesk.com_debian_PMM%5f0.1.10_dists_jessie_all_binary-amd64_Packages)

Depending to your sources.list, there can be temporary doubled source, which never conflict in any way. "apt-get" or "aptitude" are just kind enough to inform you, that they recognized a double entry.

Hello Plesk Team,
im running in the same problem, after updating to Onyx.
We cant add a subdomain, we cant run /usr/local/psa/admin/bin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all (same error, see above)
Debian 17.0.17 debian8.0.build1700161028.14 / Fail2Ban is installed but we dont use it, not using the built-in Firewall

I double checked the Apache Version, its "Server version: Apache/2.4.10 (Debian)"
@VNick: How can we install "mod access compat"? Is there a Plesk way to do it, because i cant find a "libapache2-mod-acc*" in the package repository.
Apache says the package is deprected, please tell us what we should install.

We followed the steps at https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/213378889 but we are still getting this error.
Every site is now offline, what should we do?

@x86, are you sure you're having the same error. I don't see the error message from Apache itself in your post. Please check Apache error logs for details - why it could not be restarted.
If you haven't done a dist-upgrade from Debian 7 lately it's seems unlikely that you've got the same problem.

mod_access_compat suggestion is a workaround aimed specifically for errors like "Invalid command 'Order', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration file".

Also I advise against leaving graceful restart for Apache on, unless you explicitly need it. While it may improve reconfiguration performance, it may also cause issues.
