Resolved Access web hosting via sftp

python

Regular Pleskian
I just installed plesk Onyx 17.0.17 and I created my website but it turns out that now I want to upload files via sftp but I do not know how to do it since if I am going to access web hosting it makes me to access server via ssh is forbidden.

How do I enable sftp for my web user?

Hi python,

How do I enable sftp for my web user?
Did you know, that there is a server-wide security setting?

=> Home > Tools & Settings > Security Policy

Options:

  • Allow only secure FTPS connections
  • Allow both secure FTPS and non-secure FTP connections ( <= recommended! )
  • Allow only non-secure FTP connections. Do not use FTPS
In addition, pls. note, that you are able to change SSH - access for each FTP - user at:

=> Home > Subscriptions > YOUR-DOMAIN.COM > FTP Access > YOUR-FTP-USER-ACCOUNT

Options:
  • Forbidden
  • /bin/sh
  • /bin/dash
  • /bin/bash
  • /bin/rbash
  • /bin/bash (chrooted) ( <= recommended! )

Hello thanks for replying, I do not find the security option to activate sftp, it is a linux system is sftp, I still do not know where it is activated.

I can only access the server via sftp with the root user.

regards
