Issue Accidentally removed permissions from admin@localhost

Hi all!

In an effort to tighten up security on the server, I was auditing mysql users and accidentally removed all permissions from the "admin@localhost" mysql users not realising it was used by Plesk.

Now I can't edit permissions as the other accounts on my server don't have global privileges. How can I reset the admin user to get back into plesk?

Thanks

Try to run

# plesk repair db
# plesk repair installation

Tried to run both and they both fail.

Trying to backup MySQL database... mysqldump: Got error: 1044: "Access denied for user 'admin'@'localhost' to database 'mysql'" when using LOCK TABLES

ERR [panel] Cannot save cli call statistic DB query failed: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1142 INSERT, UPDATE command denied to user 'admin'@'localhost'

I would suggest you contact Plesk Support Team for recovering access to Plesk database directly on your server.
