• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Account Prefs : new ftp user for subdomain

kadoudal

Regular Pleskian
I have a domain www.mydomain.ftd owned by userA/pwdA

I defined first subdomain : subdomain1.mydomain.ftd, and I precised in the setup
Use the FTP user account of the main domain (which is obviously userA)
no problem I can access the httpdocs directory via SFTP

I defined a second subdomain : subdomain2.mydomain.ftd, and I precised in the setup
Create a separate FTP user account for this subdomain
and I setup userB/pwB
then I cannot httpdocs directory of this second subdomain....
if I modify this setup and set it up with "Use the FTP user account of the main domain", then I can access it..

what's wrong in my config ? which files are (should be) modified by Plesk ?

thanks

Sorry got the answer .. in old post...
my first userA got access to the full path... (as owner of the domain)
the userB only to httpdocs ! (and I duplicated the ftp access copy/paste without modifying the path ..)
