Accuracy of Webalizer Stats?

Has anyone looked at the accuracy of the stats running by PLESK? They seem a bit off. I have a client that is complaining as I used to run AWSTATS before switching to plesk. His visits are about 1/2 what was shown by awstats, but he is still getting a good deal of contacts from his site, more than would seem possible for the number of visitors he's getting (14% conversion rate). Perhaps he has a great site and a low number of visitors, but I doubt it.... Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything that can be done about it?
