adding domain results in domain not shown on webinterface

TITLE:

adding domain results in domain not shown on webinterface​

PRODUCT, VERSION, OPERATING SYSTEM, ARCHITECTURE:

Plesk Onyx
Version 17.5.3 Update #44
ubuntu 16.04​

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

adding a domain like:
xyz.domain.tld
as new domain results in no error
and i get an email:

A new domain name has been created.
Domain name: demo.mydomain.tld
Domain name owner: Administrator
IP address associated with the domain name: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

but domain does not show up on 'websites and domains' page.

then i tried to add as subdomain.
but in the dropdown list the xyz.domain.tld seems to DO exist.

anyway,
i put:
[xyz] and [domain.tld] from dropdown

then i get:
A domain with such a name already exists.

result:
i cant configure the xyz.domain.tld domain
and also i cant delete the xyz.domain.tld

so i'm in a catch 22 situation.

how can i solve it?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

add domain:
domain.tld

add domain:
xyz.domain.tld​

ACTUAL RESULT:

domain xyz.domain.tld does NOT show up in listing on 'websites and domains' page​

EXPECTED RESULT:

domain xyz.domain.tld shows up in listing on 'websites and domains' page so it can be configured for hosting.​

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

in psa->domains there is a record for xyz.domain.tld
and also a corresponding record with dom_id in hosting table.​

What is your Plesk edition? I mean, do you add the domain xyz.domain.tld as a new subscription or how?

its a Web Pro Edition (30 domains).

i added by going to:
Websites & Domains -> and click 'add domain' button

When you create xyz.domain.tld as domain, what is your 'Location of the website's files' option?

how can i find out? (since the domain is not listed on Websites & Domains tab... i have no link to the settings of this domain)

in the hosting table on psa db it says:
/var/www/vhosts/xyz.domain.tld/httpdocs in the field www_root

I just want to know:

When you create xyz.domain.tld as domain, what is your 'Location of the website's files' option?

I mean 'unvisible' domain.

i think the problem is the domain 'domain.tld' already existed and now i can vaguely remeber that somehow in the past it was not possible to add a subdomain of an already existing domain as new domain.

but this time it allowed it to add xyz.domain.tld as a new domain and plesk got confused.

problem existed between my keyboard and chair.
