• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Adding MySQL database: There are no database servers available for this subscription

Michael Lodes

New Pleskian
After updating Plesk from Onyx to Obsidian I can't add new databases anymore. I get the error message: "There are no database servers available for this subscription.".

In windows event viewer I got the error from mysqlmng.exe:

MySQL configurator installation is corrupted: data directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\Databases\MySQL\Data' does not exist
at (LocalServiceHelper::LocalServiceHelper line 45)
at Unable to execute console command: '--repair-local-service'(vconsoleapp::start line 95)
at Unable to execute command: '"C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\admin\bin\mysqlmng.exe" --repair-local-service'(vconsoleapp::run line 117)
Execute file name: C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\admin\bin\mysqlmng.exe

I looked into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Plesk\Databases\MySQL\" and actually there is no "Data" directory. But i see while update time there was created a new directory called "Data" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\MySQL" !!!!!!!!!!!

I think the "Data" directory got created in the wrong directory. How could that happen? Is there now a quick solution for me? A workaround?

BTW: MySQL56 service is running without problems. I just cannot add new databases
